research and scholarship focus
Dr. Warnick's current research interests are related to the epidemiology of Salmonella infections and antimicrobial resistance of enteric bacteria in dairy cattle. He teaches bovine medicine, herd health and population medicine in pre-clinical courses. As a member of the Ambulatory & Production Medicine section, he provides large animal veterinary services on local farms and clinical instruction for veterinary students.
