Research Supp Spec IIIPatricia J. Fisher directs the laboratory and instructs and supervises undergraduate and graduate students, pathology residents, and technicians in IHC techniques using immunoperoxidase, immunofluorescence, in situ hybridization, and TUNEL assays. She is available to assist in research project design, sampling of tissues, cryosectioning, interpretation of results, and organization of projects for expeditious and productive outcome. Pat provides research support with IHC and antibody workups, in fixed or frozen tissues or cells, for the campus-wide research community on a fee-for-service basis.
Pat has a Masters Degree in Microbiology from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, and 20 years of research experience and training at Syracuse University, SUNY Upstate Medical University, and Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine, including microbiology, IHC, confocal microscopy, image analysis, molecular biology, teaching and laboratory management.
