outreach focus
On-farm and classroom meetings, participation in electronic discussion lists, and publishing articles in the farm, extension and popular press are utilized to familiarize producers, agri-service professionals and the general public about various farm-environmental issues. This work is conducted in conjunction with the NYS Agricultural Environmental Management (AEM) program in partnership with federal, state and local agricultural-support agencies and private sector conservation professionals.
