issue being addressed
Students interested in becoming the leaders of the future need to be equipped not only with the knowledge necessary to move forward, but also the skills necessary to solve the problems they will face. Teaching and advising undergraduates majoring in business provides an opportunity to develop these skills in our graduates. Litigation and the cost of complying with government regulations makes law a subject area of importance as well.
response
The curriculum in Business Law I, Business Law II, Estate Planning, and Communication Law is designed to teach future leaders about the conflicts that arise in business, as well as the ethical issues that can face those interested in undertaking successful commercial enterprises.
impact assessment
It is difficult to quantify the impact of undergraduate courses or the methods used to communicate the importance of balancing competing social values when making business and financial decisions.
